Ai won't disrupt art or photography just like it won;t disrupt music. These claims are often made by technotopians, but fail to live up to the hyped claim. AI art, like AI music, will find a place. But it won't replace. It may well face a backlash. Humans always seek what is human. Research has shown our subconscious can detect deep fakes made with AI. It's not a stretch to say the same with regard to AI generated art. Or music. Technologists rarely have an understanding of human culture or psychology. They should, it'd make for better technology.
