Good points. There's a middle camp, pragmatists, like myself, who see some value, but not world changing. Also, AI is not a single entity, a thing. It's an umbrella term for a suite of tools. I think the best comparison of a fizzled tech is Big Data. Not one of those companies has become profitable. We don't even talk about it anymore.
