Good question Marco. Any technology that impacts society at scale goes through the adaptation and other phases. Not sure I'd call it "pass" it's just part of the process. In my view, it's always the idea (egg) that comes first, a technology is the result (hen) of human imagination. Developers and engineers are very much "in it" as they create technologies, especially if building upon a technology. In varying degrees, we are all, as part of culture, participants in being shaped by, then reshaping technologies.
