But in larger sociocultural terms, for now, it suffers the digressions of the fraudsters and isn't largely understood. Generative AI is far easier for larger society to play with, Bitcoin isn't. These are key issues for any technology. Blockchain is good, but the public can't play with it easily. So it lingers in niche plays.
