I have a 2017 MacBook Pro 15"...the touch bar regularly gives out popping noises. I've tried to find it useful, but it's been so hard. I've found it to be more frustrating than useful in the end. Some will certainly, like you, enjoy it, but as one who uses a lot of keyboard shortcuts & trackpad gestures, maybe it's not really ready for prime time...great post though!
