Interesting points Allan. I do tend to bring some satire to my writing. As I said, the article is very high-level and to get to a more meaningful sociocultural definition, it would need more in depth research. One only has so much space in an article. Cultures are always evolving, complex and many moving parts. I too know some very good people doing really good things in SV that don't fit into the core of these elements. That's always the case.
