So very true. All cultures have Death Anxiety, but as you say, we used to deal with death much better. I think Western European culture has tried to deal with death anxiety by thinking in industrial terms, separating what it is to be human from the system so humans are seen as a functioning machine. Grieving time costs business money. Sad really.
