Some good thoughts. Also, humans don't tend to form relationships with abstract artefacts, which Alexa is. There re no additional "bonding" or reciprocal elements to the relationship. Google and Siri have greater reach through the addition of mobile devices, but even they struggle. Voice also misses tactile and visual cues, which are key in human relationships and cultures.
